Scholarships

Our scholarships support regional students pursuing education beyond high school. The generous support of community donors provides essential funds to support students in their goals and gives them a sense of belonging

General Scholarship

Applications Period: November 25, 2023 – March 25, 2024

Amount: $1,000

Who can apply?

If you are a student from a Missoula-area high school and are:

Five (5) scholarships of $1,000 are available for students from the following high schools (one scholarship per school):

    • Big Sky
    • Frenchtown
    • Hellgate
    • Seeley-Swan
    • Sentinel
    • Willard Alternative School*

*Willard students will be awarded through their main school of attendance (i.e. Big Sky)

Diversity Scholarship

Applications Period: November 25, 20223 – March 25, 2024

Amount: $1,000

Who can apply?

If you are a student from a Missoula-area* high school and:

One** scholarship of  $1,000 is available to a minority student.

*Missoula-area high schools:

    • Big Sky
    • Frenchtown
    • Hellgate
    • Seeley-Swan
    • Sentinel
    • Willard Alternative School***

**If you are not chosen for the Diversity Scholarship, you will still be eligible for the General Scholarship which is based on your high school.

***Willard students will be awarded through their main school of attendance (i.e. Big Sky)

Lorilee Evans-Lynn Memorial Scholarship

Applications Period: November 25, 20223-March 25, 2024

Amount: $1,500

Requirements:

    • Planning to be enrolled as a full-time student in any college or university located in the United States.
    • Graduating from Big Sky High School.
    • Majoring in literary arts (eg creative writing, poetry), performing arts (eg dance, music, theater) or visual arts (eg film, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography).
    • Preference will be given to Aerie students.
