Scholarships

In 2023, The Erie Community Foundation, and its affiliates, awarded more than $800,000 in scholarships to over 500 deserving students to pursue a post-secondary education or training.

Our new system makes it easy to apply for online scholarships by following these steps:

STEP ONE:

Gather Necessary Information

The scholarship application process is now open. To prepare, collect your financial information, transcripts, extra-curricular activities, work experiences, and any other relevant information.
STEP TWO:

Create an Account

Create an account in GOapply. Review the user guide for specific instructions for registering and completing applications. You will receive an email when you have access to GOapply.

STEP THREE:

Complete the Online Application

By using GOapply, you can complete one application to apply for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Specific details about individual online scholarships are available below. The application deadline is May 1, 2024. Some scholarships require paper applications and are available in guidance offices and other locations. Separate applications are required for those scholarships.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Clicking “Submit” submits applications for each scholarship for which the applicant has opted in all at the same time. This action cannot be undone. Please be sure that you have fully completed responses to each question in the applications to which you are opting in before clicking “Submit”.

For any questions, please contact Meghan O'Brien, Director of Grants & Scholarships. For any technical issues, please contact Josh Jaeger, Database Administrator.
