YCF Meets $900,000 IMPACT Fund Goal! 🎉

Support is still needed to meet the $100,000 goal for the Addiction Prevention Initiative Fund. 

As part of the $1 Million Match Campaign, all gifts to the fund will be matched 100%. This endowment fund will provide grants to programs geared to lessen and alter the destructive impact of alcohol and drug addiction on children and their families.

Thanks to many generous donors, we are coming down the home stretch. You can help us get there!

Scholarships Available for 2024-25 Academic Year

YCF oversees over 40 diverse scholarship funds primarily to benefit students in North Central West Virginia.

Interested students may complete a universal online application that matches them with eligible scholarship opportunities. Each scholarship opportunity requires an essay and at least one letter of recommendation. Many require demonstration of financial need. Applications are due March 5, 2024, and recipients will be announced in May.

YCF Awards Over $117,000 in Grants During Community Foundation Week

On National Philanthropy Day, November 15, 2023, we awarded 60 grants totaling over $117,000 to nonprofits and schools in our region. Congratulations to all of the recipients!
